YOWICAN Launches One-Million-Bible Distribution Nationwide to Honour Seyi Tinubu

The Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) has commenced the distribution of one million Bibles across Nigeria in honour of Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu.
National Chairman of YOWICAN, Belusochukwu Ebere, confirmed the initiative on Monday, describing it as “a gesture to honour Seyi Tinubu for all he has done for humanity.”
Ebere said the distribution, which began during a Thanksgiving service on Sunday, targets schools, churches, and missionary institutions nationwide. He added that the association was prepared to print additional copies if the initial one million Bibles were insufficient.
“The distribution started yesterday during a Thanksgiving service. We will produce more if one million is not enough to go around the country. This is a gesture to honour Seyi Tinubu for all he has done for humanity. We are targeting churches, schools and missions,” he said.
He explained that YOWICAN’s state chapters would coordinate the distribution across Nigeria, noting that the effort aims to promote “Christ-like behaviours among Christian youths and communities.”
“From YOWICAN, all states will get enough copies to go around. A lot of churches are calling for some copies to distribute to their members. Missionaries and mission schools are also requesting copies.
“We must inculcate in our youths Christ-like behaviours to curb social vices and immoral decadence among our Christian youths and communities,” the Chairman added.
The Bible distribution coincided with celebrations marking Seyi Tinubu’s 40th birthday on Sunday.
President Bola Tinubu, in a personal message, described his son as a man “with a heart that seeks to build, serve and uplift others,” noting that Seyi “can turn ideas into institutions, and challenges into opportunities.”
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo also extended their congratulations, describing Seyi Tinubu as “an industrious and compassionate Nigerian” and “a symbol of the resilience of the Nigerian youth,” respectively.
