Kaduna PDP Suspends State Secretary Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State has suspended its State Secretary, Mr. Sa’idu Adamu, over allegations of gross misconduct and anti-party activities.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Mrs. Maria Dogo, in a statement issued to newsmen in Kaduna.
According to Dogo, the decision to suspend Adamu was taken in accordance with the provisions of Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3) of the PDP Constitution (2017 as amended).
She explained that the suspension followed a resolution reached during the State Working Committee (SWC) meeting held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the party’s secretariat in Kaduna.
“The decision was reached after careful deliberations by members of the State Working Committee, in view of allegations bordering on acts inconsistent with the party’s ideals and discipline,” the statement read.
Dogo added that the suspension, which takes immediate effect, would last for one month pending the outcome of investigations and subsequent decisions by the party.
“During this period, Hon. Sa’idu Adamu is hereby barred from participating in any party activity at all levels,” she stated.
The Kaduna PDP reiterated its commitment to upholding discipline, internal democracy, and respect for party regulations, warning that similar actions would be taken against any member found to have violated the party’s constitution.
The suspension comes amid growing tensions within the state chapter of the PDP, as the party continues efforts to reposition itself ahead of future elections.
