NYSC to Open 2025 Batch B Stream II Registration on Monday

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that registration for the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II mobilisation exercise will officially begin on Monday, September 8, 2025, setting the stage for thousands of graduates across Nigeria and beyond to begin the process of enrolment into the national service scheme. According to the official mobilisation timetable released by the Corps, the online registration exercise will run from September 8 to 13. During this period, prospective corps members (PCMs) who graduated from Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and other approved institutions, as well as foreign-trained graduates, are expected to complete their registration through the NYSC portal. The schedule further highlights that foreign-trained graduates will undergo a pre-camp physical verification of their credentials between September 14 and 18, after which the Corps’ ICT department will process submitted records from September 17 to 20. Following this stage, the printing and distribution of call-up letters will take place between September 21 and 23, allowing PCMs to download and print their letters directly from the NYSC portal in readiness for camp. In a significant update, the NYSC clarified that Corps Producing Institutions (CPIs) will not be required to upload or submit senate or academic board-approved results for this mobilisation cycle. This development reflects the Corps’ gradual transition to a fully digital verification system, a move designed to reduce administrative bottlenecks, curb forgery, and ensure a smoother process for both institutions and graduates. The NYSC management, while urging all PCMs to take the registration exercise seriously, warned against errors or delays that could jeopardise deployment. Prospective corps members have been advised to carefully follow the guidelines on the portal, ensure their National Identification Number (NIN) is correctly linked, and verify that all personal information is entered accurately. Furthermore, the Corps appealed to graduates to rely strictly on information provided on its official website and verified social media platforms for updates, stressing that reliance on unverified sources could expose them to misinformation and fraud. It also encouraged those facing technical difficulties with photo uploads, payments, or NIN verification to make use of the online support services available on the portal. Institutions, parents, and other stakeholders have also been reminded of their roles in ensuring the mobilisation process runs smoothly, with NYSC offices across states expected to work closely with the national headquarters to provide necessary support. With the mobilisation timetable now in effect, anticipation is growing among graduates who have been waiting for deployment. The Corps assured that all arrangements are in place to guarantee a seamless registration and mobilisation process for the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II, which will lead to the opening of orientation camps nationwide later this month.
