Peter Obi’s Son, Oseloka Trends on X After Birthday Message to Alleged Partner

Oseloka Obi, the only son of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, became a trending topic on X (formerly Twitter) after sharing a birthday message believed to be directed at his male partner at the late hours of August 20th.

The post quickly sparked controversy online, drawing varied reactions from Nigerians, including political commentators and critics.

One user, Sarki (@Waspapping), wrote: “Peter Obi’s son and his partner are out there enjoying life, but Obidients will turn a blind eye. Well, congratulations to the soon-to-be couple.”

Another user, Pastor Okezie J. Atani (@Onsogbu), commented: “Happy Birthday to Peter Obi’s son’s ‘wife’… Ob!diots wish him ooo.”

Chigozirim Aliyu (@GoziconC) also alleged that the partner had deleted earlier photos shared online, asking: “Why did Oseloka ask her to delete those pictures? Is Oseloka not proud of his wife-to-be?”

The development has since fueled debates, with some framing the issue politically given Obi’s status as a former Anambra State governor and a major opposition figure in the 2023 general elections.
