The Police Service Commission has released the timetable for its 2026 promotion examinations for senior police officers.

The exams will cover officers seeking promotion from Assistant Superintendent of Police to Superintendent of Police.

The examinations are scheduled to hold from Monday, September 28, to Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The Commission announced the details on its official X handle on Sunday.

On Monday, September 28, officers seeking promotion from Superintendent of Police to Chief Superintendent of Police will write their examination. Accreditation will run from 8:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., while the exam itself will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.

Tuesday, September 29, is reserved for officers moving from Deputy Superintendent of Police to Superintendent of Police. Accreditation will follow the same morning schedule, with the examination also set for 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

The final day, Wednesday, September 30, will feature the examination for officers seeking promotion from Assistant Superintendent of Police to Deputy Superintendent of Police.

Accreditation will run from 8:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., and the exam will hold from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. The Commission has urged participating officers to note their specific schedules and prepare accordingly.
