Nollywood actress and evangelist, Tonto Dikeh has gifted social media personality, Bobrisky ₦2 million to mark the celebrant’s birthday, describing Bobrisky as her brother and her anchor in a public tribute that signals a full return to friendship after their widely publicised feud.

Dikeh shared the message on Instagram, where she praised Bobrisky as one of the most dependable people in her life. She wrote that anyone who has never experienced the kind of rare and unyielding friendship Bobrisky offers could be excused for misunderstanding the relationship. She then revealed that she had sent ₦2 million to the celebrant, joking that the money was only for breakfast, and signed off by calling Bobrisky her friend in whom she is pleased.

In the post, Dikeh recalled a moment she said captured the depth of their bond. According to her, when she told Bobrisky it was time for war, the response came instantly and without questions: how far are we going to fight? She described that kind of immediate loyalty as irreplaceable.

Bobrisky, whose real name is Idris Okuneye, reposted the payment receipt on Instagram Stories and later responded warmly to birthday photos Dikeh had sent. Bobrisky wrote that the two would ride forever, adding that even if Dikeh became a pastor, Bobrisky would remain her first love, and said the celebrant was happy with the new Dikeh and her growth. In a separate reaction to the tribute, Bobrisky simply thanked her.

The gesture comes years after the pair’s friendship collapsed in public. They were reportedly close for about five years before the relationship broke down in 2020, following a dispute that reportedly began when Dikeh unfollowed Bobrisky over a video of Bobrisky spraying money on someone she considered a rival. Both sides traded accusations online at the time, with Bobrisky claiming Dikeh owed ₦5 million. They have since reconciled.

The birthday message has also drawn mixed reactions on social media, with some users focusing on Dikeh’s use of male terms such as brother and man to describe Bobrisky, who has publicly identified as a woman. Others praised the actress for her loyalty and for the peace between the two former friends.
