CDCFIB Releases Shortlist Schedule for 2024/2025 Recruitment Exercise

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the schedule for shortlisted candidates in the final stage of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.

The Board said candidates who participated in the recently concluded physical and medical screening for recruitment into the Nigeria Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps should check their status on the official recruitment portal.

According to a statement signed by the Board’s Secretary, Maj. Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril (retd.), candidates who applied under the Graduate Category can access the portal from Monday, August 31, to Wednesday, September 2, 2026, to determine whether they have been selected for the oral interview.

Applicants who submitted NCE, OND or SSCE qualifications are to check their status between Monday, September 7, and Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

The Board directed shortlisted candidates to select a convenient venue closest to them, as well as an interview date and time, before printing their invitation letters.

It also instructed candidates to comply strictly with the dress code stated in their invitation letters, stressing that only those shortlisted for the final exercise would be admitted to the venues.

Jibril warned applicants against relying on emails for recruitment updates, saying the Board would not send recruitment-related emails and that all official communications would be made through the CDCFIB recruitment portal.

The Board further reiterated that the recruitment process is free and cautioned candidates against individuals or groups demanding money in exchange for employment.

It urged applicants to rely solely on the official portal and recognised communication channels for information concerning the recruitment exercise.
