Flora, Aikou Named BBNaija Season 11 Gambits, Secure Finale Spots But Miss Out On ₦160 Million Prize

Big Brother Naija Season 11 has thrown up its first major twist of the season, with housemates Flora and Aikou emerging as the show’s Gambits following a public vote that concluded during Sunday’s live show.

Host, Ebuka Obi Uchendu announced the outcome, revealing that Flora polled the highest number of votes among the female housemates to clinch her spot, while Aikou secured the male position with the strongest backing in his category. Ricky and Abi followed behind in the voting, though they fell short of the top spots reserved for the Gambit twist.

Rather than face eviction as many housemates had expected, the pair instead learned they had been handed guaranteed places in the house all the way to the grand finale, making them immune to eviction for the remainder of the season.

Biggie explained the arrangement directly to the housemates, describing the gameplay as one that grants longevity in the house in exchange for a significant sacrifice. Flora and Aikou will no longer be in contention for the season’s record breaking N160 million grand prize, even though they remain fully active participants in every other aspect of the competition.

As Gambits, the pair are expected to take on a deeper, more strategic role within the house. According to the organisers, they will now function as Biggie’s agents, carrying out secret tasks and helping to shape events from behind the scenes while their fellow housemates continue to battle for the season’s top prize. They will also continue enjoying brand sponsorships, individual rewards and every other privilege tied to life in the house.

Flora Egbedi, a makeup entrepreneur from Delta State known for her bold personality and confidence, had entered the house describing her relationship status as complicated and vowing that her honesty would keep her fellow housemates on their toes. Aikou, a 25 year old freelance teacher and web developer from Abuja, had introduced himself as calm, outspoken and independent, with little patience for dishonesty.

The development has already sparked wide reaction on social media, with fans divided over whether the guaranteed finale slot is a fair trade for missing out on the grand prize altogether.
