Fubara in Public Appearance at Boys Brigade Thanksgiving Service
Suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, made a public appearance at a special thanksgiving ceremony hosted by the Boys Brigade Metropolitan Battalion Council Nigeria.
This event marked his first outing since returning from a two-week trip to the United Kingdom on Saturday.
The ceremony, which took place at St. Cyprian’s Church, Anglican Communion in Port Harcourt, was led by Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Oko-Jaja.
According to a statement from the governor’s media aide, Nelson Chukwudi, the event celebrated the successful conclusion of the Boys Brigade’s religious camp activities in the state.
A key moment during the ceremony was a special prayer for the governor, his family, and the state’s peace.
Fubara was joined by Amaopusenibo Fubara Hart and Dr. Tamunosisi Gogo-Jaja at the event.
Meanwhile, Fubara’s return coincided with allegations from his former political ally, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, who accused him of disrupting an empowerment program for women in Port Harcourt organized by the office of Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
This development may hinder the ongoing efforts to reconcile Fubara and Wike.
