President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to receive the All Progressives Congress (APC) Certificate of Return and the party’s flag as its presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections on Sunday in Abuja.

According to a statement issued on Saturday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the presentation will take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre following the nationwide collation of the party’s presidential primary election results.

The statement said the Presidential Primary Elections Committee would formally present the certificate and flag to the president at the event.

It added that APC governors, members of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), National Working Committee (NWC), National Assembly members, and other party stalwarts are expected to attend the ceremony.

The development follows the conclusion of the APC presidential primary process ahead of the 2027 elections.
