Gospel singer, Tosin Bee brought worshippers together in Lagos for the latest edition of his Praise Affair, tagged “The Thanksgiving,” with guests spending hours in praise, prayer and worship.

The gathering, held at Regal Hall, Ikeja, featured musical ministrations from Tosin Bee and members of his Beezle Nation team, with the congregation joining in songs performed in both English and Yoruba.

Unlike a conventional music concert, Tosin Bee described the gathering as a spiritual experience centred on thanksgiving and worship.

“The thanksgiving was not a concert; it was an altar. The Beezle People came ready to worship,” the singer said.

The event marked Tosin Bee’s return to a major concert platform after he last headlined a large-scale concert in 2019.

He expressed appreciation to those who attended and participated in the thanksgiving service.

A number of gospel artistes and musicians also featured during the programme, including Beejay Sax, Kaestrings, Adeyinka Alaseyori, Eniola Olusoga, Laolu Gbenjo, Steve Hills, Elijah Daniel, SMJ and Lillian Nneji.

Beejay Sax kicked off the musical performances with a saxophone presentation, after which Kaestrings led the audience in worship.

Alaseyori’s performance elicited emotional reactions from some worshippers, while SMJ’s set had attendees across different age groups dancing and celebrating.

The Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Yemi Davids, was among the dignitaries at the gathering.

Addressing the worshippers, Davids described praise as an expression of God’s greatness and ability, while offering prayers for Tosin Bee and those who participated in the event.

The programme was open to attendees at no cost and featured professional stage and sound arrangements. Volunteers were also deployed to assist with coordination and ensure the smooth running of activities throughout the gathering.
