The Delta State Commercial Motorcycle and Tricycle Operations Association (COMTOA) has formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and all All Progressives Congress candidates in the state.

The group made the declaration during a solidarity visit marked by a large turnout of members.

The association reaffirmed its full support for the ruling party and its candidates ahead of the forthcoming general elections. Members pledged to mobilise their networks across the state to back the endorsed leaders.

The endorsement comes as part of growing grassroots support for the current administrations at both federal and state levels. COMTOA leaders highlighted the importance of continued development and policies that benefit transport operators and ordinary citizens.

Governor Oborevwori received the association at Government House in Asaba, where the operators expressed confidence in his leadership and the MORE Agenda. They also backed President Tinubu’s re-election bid, citing ongoing reforms and infrastructure projects.
The show of support from the commercial motorcycle and tricycle operators adds to a series of endorsements from various groups in Delta State as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 polls.
