Mutilated Body with MISSING Vital Organs Found Behind Plateau Market

A mutilated human body has been discovered behind the Monday Market in Pankshin, Plateau State, leaving residents of the community shocked.

The identity of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding his death remained unknown as of Tuesday evening.

Residents said the corpse was found in the early hours of Tuesday behind the market.

Johnson Dawul, a resident, said some parts of the man’s body, including his genitals, had been removed. “We woke up this morning to see the corpse lying behind the Monday Market. It was a shocking sight,” he said.

Another resident confirmed that no one in the area could immediately identify the deceased or explain how he died. The discovery prompted community members to alert security personnel, who later arrived at the scene and took the remains away.

The body was evacuated to the General Hospital in Pankshin, where efforts were made to establish the identity of the deceased. A community source, Panshak Rogo, said the man’s ears and nose had also been cut off and appealed to anyone with missing relatives to contact the police for possible identification.

The incident has caused concern among residents, who are awaiting clarification from security authorities. Police officers are expected to investigate the circumstances of the death and determine the identity of the victim as well as those responsible.
