Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has expressed appreciation to supporters and associates who donated vehicles and other logistics to support his campaign and grassroots mobilisation efforts across Ogun State.

Adeola, in a statement of appreciation, said the donations included 117 buses, an ambulance, a pickup van and other vehicles contributed by individuals, companies and associates.

He said the contributions demonstrated the supporters’ confidence in the campaign and commitment to its objectives, noting that the vehicles were already being deployed for grassroots mobilisation and outreach activities across the state.

The senator particularly appreciated those who committed their personal resources to provide mobility support, describing the donations as sacrifices that should not be taken for granted.

Among those recognised were Mr Akintunde Armstrong, who donated 26 buses; Alhaji IBD Dende, seven buses and an ambulance; Zacobass Oil & Gas, 10 buses; Stonebridge Engineering Services Ltd, 10 buses; Elele Ijebu, 10 buses; Amazon Luxury Apartments, 10 buses; and Polanco, 10 buses.

Other donors listed included Citiside Brother, two buses; Sanusi Friend, four buses; Olafem Citi Friend, one bus; Onaolapo Brother, three buses; OJ, two buses; Sodiq Badru, one bus; Kenny Odeda, one bus; Kabiyesi Segun Ojolowo, four vehicles; MTN Odeda, one vehicle; Adunbarin YAYI Diaspora, one vehicle; Rashidat Texas, one vehicle; Mr Osho, 10 buses; Elele Mowe, two vehicles; Ola Odogbolu, one Korope mini bus; and Nafiu Abimbola and Friend, one pickup.

Adeola said the vehicles had been deployed to support mobilisation and outreach activities involving Ode Ado, Sango (Jabot), Alhaji Ismail, Imam Ado, Imam Akewukowo, Fulani Ilaro, Imam Ijebu, Door 2 Door and Ese Muphy.

He also acknowledged supporters who contributed campaign materials, logistical assistance, time, expertise, networks and other resources, saying both publicly recognised and behind-the-scenes contributions were valued.

The senator said the sacrifices placed a responsibility on the campaign to justify the confidence reposed in it by supporters.

“Your generosity strengthens our movement, your sacrifice inspires us, and your confidence further reinforces our determination to continue working towards the progress and development of our dear Ogun State,” Adeola said.
