The Renewed Hope for Youth Development and Empowerment Initiative (RHYDEI), a youth group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), says it plans to mobilise 10,000 young Nigerians across the country to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 presidential election.

The group also set a target of securing 20 million votes for Tinubu across the 774 local government areas nationwide.

The President of RHYDEI, Abayomi Odediran, disclosed this on Sunday in Abuja at the launch of the initiative, saying the organisation would deploy trained youth ambassadors across the states to communicate the policies and achievements of the Tinubu administration.

Odediran said the group would take its mobilisation campaign to communities and wards across the country, with its activities spanning the 774 local government areas.

He said the planned 10,000 youth ambassadors would engage Nigerians directly in markets and other public spaces, as well as through social media platforms.

According to him, the initiative would use the youth network to explain the administration’s programmes and counter what it considers misinformation about the government’s performance.

Odediran also disclosed that RHYDEI would collaborate with relevant Federal Government agencies to facilitate access to skills acquisition programmes, grants and loans for at least one million young Nigerians before the 2027 election.

He said the initiative was confident that its planned interventions and mobilisation efforts would demonstrate the impact of the government’s Renewed Hope agenda.

The mobilisation plan is part of broader efforts by pro-Tinubu youth groups to build grassroots support for the President ahead of the 2027 general elections.
