Canaanland, the headquarters of Living Faith Church Worldwide in Ota, Ogun State, has taken delivery of 40 new electric buses from China, just weeks after the church’s founder, Bishop David Oyedepo, announced the commencement of a new transport system within the faith-based community.

The arrival of the buses marks another major step in the ongoing expansion of transportation services in Canaanland, aimed at improving mobility for residents, worshippers, students, and visitors within the expansive church environment.

The newly delivered electric buses are expected to complement the existing fleet and strengthen the church’s efforts to provide efficient and environmentally friendly transportation services. Sources within the community indicated that additional units are expected to arrive in the coming days and weeks.

The latest delivery comes on the heels of the acquisition of 115 new buses recently added to the transport fleet, highlighting the scale of investment being made in the sector.

Despite reports that no budget was initially earmarked for the purchase of buses in 2026, observations over the past year indicate that at least 238 buses have been acquired and deployed across various transportation operations linked to Canaanland.

The development has generated excitement among members and residents, many of whom see the expansion as a significant boost to transportation infrastructure and service delivery within the community.

With more buses expected to arrive, the transport initiative is projected to further enhance accessibility, reduce commuting challenges, and support the growing population that relies on the church’s transportation network for daily movement and major events.
