Sunday Adenuga Emerges as BOOT Party Presidential Candidate for 2027

Sunday Adenuga, also known as Sonny Adenuga, has been named the presidential candidate of the BOOT Party – Because Of Our Tomorrow – for the 2027 general elections. He currently serves as the National Chairman of the party.

Adenuga is a Nigerian technocrat and project management professional with more than 20 years of international experience in information technology, governance and organisational transformation. He holds a Master’s degree in Project Management and several global certifications in risk and information systems control.

He has worked in senior roles across the United Kingdom, Europe and Africa, including with major organisations such as Ford Motor Company. His experience across different countries and Nigerian communities shaped his view that the country’s main challenge lies in a leadership system that often fails to produce accountable and competent leaders.

The BOOT Party was founded on principles that include zero tolerance for corruption and violence, integrity, accountability, transparency and merit-based leadership. Adenuga promotes the use of technology to improve public services, strengthen anti-corruption systems and drive efficient government operations.

As the party’s presidential candidate, he presents a vision focused on competence-driven leadership, transparent management of public resources, stronger security through intelligence, better opportunities for young people and greater citizen participation in governance. His campaign is built around the idea of building a better Nigeria for future generations.
