Bose Ogulu, mother and manager of Burna Boy, has celebrated 36 years of marriage with her husband, Samuel Ogulu.

On Tuesday she shared photographs of the couple on Instagram and called the years a stretch of love, friendship and unforgettable memories. “Happy 36th anniversary, Sam,” she wrote. In another post she toasted “36 years with my best friend and the most incredible father to our children.”

The Ogulus have stayed close to their son’s career. Bose has long managed Burna Boy as he became one of Africa’s biggest music stars, while the family has remained a familiar presence around his work.

The anniversary posts drew warm reactions from fans who often see only the public side of the singer’s life. This time the focus was quieter: two people marking more than three decades together.
