Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Tonto Dikeh has shared how her reconciliation with her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, has encouraged other women to mend broken relationships.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Dikeh revealed that hundreds of women contacted her after news of the reconciliation became public. Many asked how she found the strength to forgive after years of conflict.

She and Churchill married in 2015 and welcomed a son, King Andre, before their relationship broke down publicly around 2017. The years that followed were marked by bitter disputes, broken communication, legal battles and intense disagreements over custody and co-parenting. The couple’s conflicts often played out in the public eye.

In January 2026, Dikeh announced that the long period of hostility had ended. She described the reconciliation as the result of divine intervention, humility and the sincere prayers of their child. What once seemed impossible, she said, had been restored, with peace and mutual respect replacing years of anger and pain.

Since the announcement, she has been approached by many women facing similar struggles. Although she could not reply to every message, she reached out to those whose experiences closely mirrored her own. As a result, at least 10 women have reconciled with their former partners, restoring peace and establishing healthier co-parenting arrangements.

“Ever since my reconciliation with my ex-husband, hundreds of women have reached out asking the same question: How did you learn to forgive?” she wrote. “While I couldn’t reply to everyone, I reached out to those whose pain mirrored my own. Today, to the glory of God, at least 10 women have been reconciled.”

Dikeh stressed that forgiveness is not primarily for the person who caused the hurt but for the one who chooses to let go. She described it as the key to moving forward and said God had turned her personal story into a tool for helping others find healing and restoration.
