My Job Is to Give Opposition Leaders High Blood Pressure, Says Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has said his responsibility is to keep opposition leaders under pressure, declaring that his political activities are aimed at giving them “high blood pressure.”

Wike made the remark while speaking on his approach to political opposition and his role in the current political landscape.

The former Rivers State governor has remained one of the most outspoken figures in Nigerian politics, particularly on issues involving political parties and opposition leaders.

According to the minister, he is not bothered by the criticism directed at him by his political opponents. Instead, he suggested that he would continue with his political activities and policies despite the reactions from those who disagree with him.

“My job is to give opposition leaders high blood pressure,” Wike said, stressing his determination to remain active in the political space.

The statement is likely to generate further reactions from opposition figures and political stakeholders, as Wike continues to attract attention over his comments and political positions.

Wike, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party, has in recent years played a significant role in national political discussions.

His outspoken nature and willingness to challenge his political opponents have frequently made him a subject of public debate.
