Comedian, Brain Jotter Cries Out After Lagos Touts Harassment
Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator, Chukwuebuka Amuzie, better known as Brain Jotter, has spoken out after being harassed by suspected thugs while driving in Lagos. He shared a video of the incident on his Instagram page on Tuesday.
In the clip, a group of men can be seen confronting the skit maker on a Lagos road. They reportedly blocked his path and demanded money before allowing him to continue on his way.
Brain Jotter captioned the post with a sharp comment about the situation, describing the men as “Nigerian zoo keepers” and expressing frustration over the encounter. The video has drawn widespread attention online.
The incident is the latest in a growing list of complaints from entertainers, professionals and ordinary residents about the activities of suspected area boys, popularly known as agberos, across different parts of Lagos.
Many users have called for stronger action against the men who routinely harass motorists and demand illegal payments. The comedian’s experience has once again highlighted the daily challenges faced by people trying to move freely around the city.
