The Mountain Top Chorale of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries has emerged champion in the spiritual category at the 14th World Choir Games held in Helsingborg, Sweden. The achievement was celebrated by the church’s General Overseer, Daniel Olukoya.

The choir, conducted by Oluwasegun Okedunmola, won the Category C14 – Spiritual with an impressive score of 87.38 points. It was also named Champion of the World Choir Games in the Champions Competition.

The World Choir Games 2026, described as the world’s largest international choir competition, runs from August 6 to 16. Around 8,500 singers from more than 40 countries and over 160 choirs are taking part in the event, which is being hosted in Sweden for the first time.

Olukoya described the victory as a glorious moment for the choir and a testament to discipline, excellence, dedication, and teamwork. He said the feat had brought honour and pride to Nigeria and the entire MFM family.

The General Overseer congratulated the choristers, conductor, and leadership of the group, giving glory to God for the success. The win places Mountain Top Chorale among the leading choirs on the international choral music stage.
