Oyo APC Guber Candidate Sharafadeen Alli Appoints Campaign Coordinator, Zonal Heads
The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has appointed key officials to coordinate his campaign organisation ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The appointments, announced in a statement on Tuesday, are aimed at strengthening the campaign structure and enhancing grassroots mobilisation across the state.
Former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, was named Campaign Organisation Coordinator, while Hon. Olayemi Olugbenga was appointed Deputy Coordinator.
The campaign also appointed Hon. Kazeem Adesile Adedeji as Director of Administration and Secretary of the Campaign Organisation to oversee administrative affairs and ensure effective coordination of campaign activities.
To drive mobilisation across the state, the campaign named zonal coordinators for the seven geopolitical zones. Hon. Remi Sodiq will coordinate Ibadan City, Hon. Femi Akintunde will oversee Ibadan Outer City, Hon. Oladimeji Dauda Wasiu will coordinate Oke-Ogun I, Hon. Samuel Okunlade will head Oke-Ogun II, Hon. Bashir Akanbi will oversee Ogbomoso Zone, Hon. Kazeem Isiaka Arole will coordinate Oyo Zone, while Hon. Habeeb Ibrahim will head the Ibarapa Zone.
According to the statement, the appointments reflect Senator Alli’s commitment to building a formidable and inclusive campaign structure capable of reaching every community across Oyo State ahead of the 2027 governorship poll.
The APC governorship candidate expressed confidence in the ability of the appointees to deliver on their responsibilities and urged them to work diligently with party leaders, members and supporters to strengthen the party’s grassroots support and ensure victory at the polls.
The appointments are part of the campaign’s early preparations for the 2027 governorship election as the APC intensifies efforts to consolidate its structures and expand its political base across Oyo State.
