The Iranian judiciary has executed two men following their convictions on charges of espionage and illegal intelligence gathering on behalf of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency, according to official reports from Iran’s state-aligned media outlets.

The two individuals were convicted by Iranian revolutionary courts for gathering and transmitting classified security and military information to foreign agents.

Iranian state authorities revealed that the covert operations involved collecting sensitive location data and operational details regarding strategic domestic facilities, which were subsequently passed to foreign intelligence handlers in exchange for financial compensation.

Following the exhaustion of all judicial appeal processes, the supreme court upheld the capital sentences, leading to their execution.

Highlighting the state’s hardline stance against foreign intelligence networks operating within its national borders, judicial authorities emphasized that security agencies remain hyper-vigilant against external covert activities.

“The sentences were carried out after legal procedures were completed and the convictions were confirmed by the country’s highest judicial authority,” official judicial statements confirmed, noting that “the executed individuals were found guilty of maintaining direct contact with Mossad agents and delivering sensitive security intelligence to enemy forces.”

The executions follow an intensified domestic crackdown by Iranian security services on alleged spy networks and foreign intelligence assets amid ongoing regional geopolitical tensions.
