Kwara Governor Rejigs cabinet, Sacks Special Advisers, Political Appointees
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has reshuffled his cabinet sacking all Special Advisers, Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, along with the Deputy Chief of Staff and the Principal Private Secretary.
The announcement was made in a statement released on Monday by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mashood Agboola. The statement indicates that the exercise seeks to provide chances for additional members of the ruling party to participate in governance while revitalizing the administration with new energy.
Governor AbdulRazaq conveyed gratitude to the impacted appointees for what he referred to as their dedicated and important contribution to the state throughout their tenure.
He expressed his hopes for their success in upcoming endeavors and recognized their contributions to the advancement of the administration.
The governor instructed all impacted appointees to promptly return government property in their possessions to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
The rejigging is a component of the administration's attempts to enhance governance and increase participation within the government while it persists in executing its development agenda throughout the state.
