Seven Students Injured in Armed Robbery Attack on Ebonyi Female Hostel

Armed robbers have attacked a female hostel at a higher institution in Ebonyi State, injuring seven students in the process.

The incident happened at night when the robbers broke into the hostel and terrorised the students. Many of the girls sustained injuries while trying to escape or during the robbery. The attack has caused fear among students and parents in the area.

According to reports, the robbers forced their way into the hostel and stole valuables from the students. Some of the injured students were rushed to hospital for treatment. The quick response by security agencies helped to limit further damage, but the event has left many people worried about safety on campus.

This latest attack has raised serious concerns about the security of students, especially female hostels in the state. Many residents are calling on the government and school authorities to improve security measures around student accommodations. Parents fear for the safety of their children studying away from home.

The Ebonyi State Police Command has assured the public that investigations are ongoing to arrest the criminals involved. Security patrols around schools and hostels have been increased to prevent similar incidents. Students are advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities immediately.

This unfortunate event highlights the growing challenge of campus-related crimes in parts of Nigeria.
