Suspected Bandit Informant Posing as Mad Woman Apprehended in Oyo Community

Residents of Igboora in Oyo State have raised serious security concerns after catching a woman who was pretending to be mentally unstable in the Lawal Estate area of Idofin.

The suspect was apprehended by vigilant locals who became suspicious of her behaviour. This incident has heightened fears of infiltration by criminal elements in the community.

According to eyewitnesses, the woman was overheard on a phone call talking about possible ways to enter the town. When questioned, she reportedly confessed to having connections with bandits. Her actions suggest she may have been gathering information for criminal groups, using her disguise to move freely without raising immediate suspicion.

The people of Igboora acted quickly to stop her before any harm could be done. Many residents expressed worry that criminals are now using different tactics, including pretending to be mad, to spy on communities. This case has sparked calls for better security measures and more awareness among people living in the area.

Security experts and locals believe such incidents show the clever methods used by bandits and their helpers. The community is now on high alert, encouraging everyone to report suspicious persons immediately. Proper investigation is expected to uncover more details about her activities and any possible links.

This event serves as a wake-up call for residents in Oyo State and other parts of Nigeria facing insecurity. It highlights the importance of community vigilance in fighting crime. As authorities look into the matter, the people of Igboora hope for stronger protection to prevent bandits from using similar tricks in the future.
