Senator Yari Donates 500 Cows to APC Members in Zamfara Ahead of Eid
Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, has donated 500 cows to members and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State ahead of the Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
The donation was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday in Gusau by Alhaji Ibrahim Birninmagaji, Chairman of the Publicity Committee of Yari’s Political Organisation.
According to the statement, the cows were distributed across the 147 political wards in the 14 local government areas of the state.
Beneficiaries of the gesture include APC members, party elders, ward executives, supporters of the Minister of Defence, Bello Matawalle, members of Senator Yari’s political structure and new entrants into the party linked to Governor Dauda Lawal’s camp.
The statement described the donation as part of an annual initiative by the former Zamfara governor aimed at supporting party members during festive periods.
It added that the intervention also covered logistics and other distribution-related expenses, including the allocation of three cows to each ward in the state.
According to the statement, the gesture was intended to assist party members and stakeholders in celebrating Eid-El-Kabir with ease.
The organisation also called on residents of the state to use the festive season to pray for peace, unity, and the success of the country, especially for President Bola Tinubu.
