President Tinubu Will Solve Insecurity Within Next Four Years If Re-elected, Assures David Umahi

Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has assured Nigerians that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will completely tackle and resolve the country’s persistent insecurity challenges within the next four years if given another mandate in office.

Umahi gave the assurance during an inspection tour of ongoing federal infrastructure projects, linking national security directly to political continuity and infrastructural expansion. He emphasized that the administration’s massive investment in legacy road networks and border-connecting superhighways is a deliberate strategy to curb criminal activities.

By constructing durable concrete roads and opening up previously inaccessible rural corridors, the federal government aims to eliminate the isolated, unpoliced forests and transit routes that bandits and kidnappers currently exploit.

Umahi explained that these multi-billion naira infrastructure developments serve a dual purpose: they stimulate regional economic integration while significantly enhancing the rapid-response capabilities and tactical mobility of national security forces. Addressing stakeholders and residents, the works minister noted that reversing decades of complex security deficits requires sustained financing and administrative stability rather than temporary interventions.

He maintained that the extensive security reforms, intelligence integration, and military modernization being driven by the presidency will yield definitive results within a second-term horizon.

Umahi urged regional leaders and voters to align fully with the ruling party ahead of upcoming political cycles, arguing that solid solidarity with the incumbent administration is essential to guarantee the uninterrupted funding of these transformative security and development blueprints.
