Kogi PDP Announces Seven House of Reps Candidates After Primaries

The Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi State has announced seven candidates who emerged victorious in the just-concluded House of Representatives primaries ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

In a statement issued by the Kogi State Chairman of the party, Muhammed Sanni Gambo, the party listed the successful candidates who will fly its flag in various federal constituencies across the state.

According to the statement, Abdulrahman Badamasui emerged as the candidate for Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency, while Abdulkadir Ibrahim secured the ticket for Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency.

Muhammed Etudaiye clinched the ticket for Okene/Ogori Magongo Federal Constituency, while Mohammed Idris Lawal emerged as the party’s candidate for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.

Others are Okolo Ikani Benjamin for Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency, Femi Victor Olubiyo for Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, and Ibigbemi Sesan Samuel for Yagba Federal Constituency.

The party, however, noted that the list of successful candidates for Ankpa and Idah Federal Constituencies had yet to be released.

The PDP said the primaries were conducted peacefully and called on members of the party to unite and support the candidates ahead of the general elections.
