ICE Arrests Nigerian National Olatunde Olusanjo in Los Angeles on Child Molestation
Authorities have arrested a 53-year-old Nigerian national, Olatunde Abiodun Olusanjo, on charges including child molestation, following his detention by local Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers.
Olusanjo was taken into custody on April 21 by ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). According to an official ICE statement, his prior criminal record includes arrests for child molestation, sexual battery, and soliciting lewd conduct.
He remains in ICE custody, pending removal proceedings.
Court records reveal a previous legal entanglement for Olusanjo in Los Angeles. In June 2022, a temporary restraining order was issued against him following a family lawsuit filed by an individual named Rita Grinage. The case was ultimately dismissed later that year due to a lack of prosecution.
At present, the agency has not announced a specific timeline for his deportation hearing.
As of now, no official ICE press release or local news report has been published beyond the agency’s brief statement.
