Kaduna PDP Women Leader, Godiya Lolo Resigns from Party
The Kaduna State Woman Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Godiya Lolo also known as Godiya Ayuba Lolo, has resigned from her position and left the party.
She made the announcement through a formal letter dated April 13. The letter was sent to the party chairman in her ward, Dura/Bitaro Ward in Jaba Local Government Area.
In the letter, Lolo thanked the PDP for giving her the chance to serve as the state women leader. She wrote that it had been an honour to hold the position and gain valuable experience. She did not give any specific reason for leaving but simply stated that she had formally resigned her membership and leadership role.
Although she has not publicly said what she will do next, sources close to politics in Kaduna say her name has already appeared in a campaign team linked to the ruling party in Kaduna South.
