Iwobi’s Home Burgled, Valuables worth over £200,000 stolen
Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi has reportedly suffered a major setback after his home was burgled, with losses estimated at £500,000.
According to Daily Sports, the Nigerian international was allegedly held at knifepoint by the attackers during the incident.
Items stolen from the residence include a MacBook laptop, two iPhones, and a collection of jewelry and watches. Reports indicate that the loss was further compounded by the theft of approximately £200,000 in cash.
Authorities are reportedly investigating the incident.
The burglary follows Iwobi’s weekend appearance for Fulham, where he helped the Cottagers secure a 3-1 victory over Burnley in the Premier League.
