Men More Loyal to Their Barbers Than Their Partners, Survey Finds

A recent post by Wealth has reignited global conversation about men’s deep loyalty to their barbers sometimes even surpassing their devotion to romantic partners.

The post, shared on Instagram within the last 10 hours, cites a UK survey of 2,000 adults that explored how people view their relationships with barbers compared to their partners.

The findings were striking: nearly three in ten men said they would never switch barbers under any circumstance.

Even more surprising, 13 percent of male respondents admitted they would feel guiltier about “cheating” on their barber than on their significant other.

The research also revealed how quickly this loyalty forms. On average, it takes only three visits before a man settles on a barber, with a good haircut often securing the relationship for years.

The viral post has since sparked lively reactions across social media, with many users joking that barbers hold a “sacred trust” that rivals romantic bonds. Others noted that barbershops often serve as safe, familiar spaces where men feel comfortable, making the loyalty understandable.

While some may find the results humorous, experts suggest the findings highlight the importance of trust, routine, and consistency in everyday relationships values that men appear to safeguard most strongly when it comes to their haircuts.
