Stanbic IBTC Rewards 148 Savers with ₦23m Cash
Stanbic IBTC Bank has boosted the savings culture in Nigeria by disbursing ₦23 million to 148 beneficiaries in the latest round of its Reward4Saving Season 4 promo, covering the months of May and June.
Held at the bank’s head office in Lagos, the combined draws featured two phases — monthly and quarterly — rewarding customers who maintained a minimum balance of ₦10,000 for 30 consecutive days in their Stanbic IBTC Savings Accounts or @ease Wallets.
A total of 140 customers each received ₦100,000 from the monthly draw, amounting to ₦14 million. The first quarterly draw followed, producing eight high-value winners — seven of whom received ₦1 million each across different business zones. One grand quarterly winner walked away with ₦2 million, bringing the quarterly prize pool to ₦9 million.
The event was conducted under the oversight of key regulatory bodies, including the Federal Competition & Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), and the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority, ensuring full transparency and compliance.
Since Season 4 launched in May 2025, the promo has already distributed ₦30 million to 218 winners, building on a cumulative total of over ₦300 million awarded to more than 2,000 participants since its inception in 2021.
Commenting on the initiative, Emmanuel Aihevba, Country Head of Personal Banking at Stanbic IBTC, highlighted the bank’s commitment to customer empowerment.
“We are rewarding 148 savers with a total of ₦23 million to support their aspirations, ranging from education to entrepreneurship. At Stanbic IBTC, we are committed to appreciating our loyal customers by providing meaningful opportunities that enhance their financial well-being and promote a culture of saving across Nigeria.”
The draw also brought real-life impact stories to light. A retiree, Kesena Igben, who won in the monthly category, expressed his joy at the financial relief the reward brought:
“My daughter came with me to receive my prize. On our way to the Stanbic IBTC office, she said, ‘Daddy, you are so excited.’ I said to her, ‘Did you know that this has saved me money on petrol expenses for two weeks?’ So, for me to have money that Stanbic IBTC gave me, which took away the pain of spending on petrol for two weeks, is great to me.”
Stanbic IBTC’s Reward4Saving promo continues to serve as a major incentive in encouraging financial discipline and consistent saving habits among Nigerians.
