Scammer Attempts Using DJ Cuppy to Contact Her Father

Popular Nigerian disc jockey and daughter of billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, DJ Cuppy, has taken to social media to reveal a shocking attempt by a scammer to use her as a means to contact her father.

In a post on her Instagram page, DJ Cuppy shared her terrifying experience, stating that she was almost fooled by a man who claimed to have a business proposition for her father.

The scammer had apparently been trying to use DJ Cuppy as a conduit to reach her father, with the intention of swindling him out of his hard-earned money.

According to DJ Cuppy, the scammer had been making persistent attempts to contact her, claiming to have a lucrative business deal that would benefit her father’s company.

However, DJ Cuppy’s instincts told her that something was off, and she decided to investigate further.

“I was almost fooled by a man who tried to use me to get to my dad. He had a whole script and everything, claiming to have a business proposition for my dad. But I’m not that gullible, and I decided to do my research,” DJ Cuppy wrote on her Instagram page.

DJ Cuppy revealed that she had reported the incident to her father’s security team, who are now investigating the matter. She also used the opportunity to warn her followers about the dangers of scams and the importance of being vigilant when dealing with strangers.

“This is a warning to all my followers out there,” DJ Cuppy said. “Be careful who you trust, and never give out personal information to strangers. My dad always says that if a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. I’m just glad I was able to see through this scammer’s plan and avoid any potential harm.”

The incident has sparked a wave of reactions on social media, with many of DJ Cuppy’s fans and followers praising her for her quick thinking and caution. Others have expressed concern about the rising incidence of scams and fraud in Nigeria, and the need for people to be more vigilant when dealing with strangers.

As for DJ Cuppy, she has vowed to remain vigilant and to always prioritize her safety and security. “I’m grateful for my dad’s guidance and protection,” she said. “I’ll always be careful and cautious when dealing with strangers, and I advise everyone to do the same.”

The incident has also highlighted the importance of cybersecurity and the need for individuals to be aware of the potential risks and threats that exist online. As DJ Cuppy’s experience shows, even the children of wealthy and influential individuals can be targeted by scammers, and it’s essential to be proactive in protecting oneself and one’s loved ones from potential harm.
