EFCC Declares Ebonyi Man Wanted Over Alleged Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has declared John Kelechi Ekuma wanted over an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence.

Ekuma, 43, is from Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State and was listed in a public notice issued by the commission as part of efforts to track suspected fraudsters.

The agency said his last known address is 13/14 Ligali Ayomide Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

In the notice released on Tuesday and signed by the commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, the EFCC appealed to members of the public to provide information that could lead to his arrest.

The commission urged anyone with useful details on his whereabouts to contact any of its offices nationwide or reach out through its official communication channels, including phone and email, or report to the nearest police station or security agency.

The EFCC reiterated its commitment to combating financial crimes and called for public cooperation in providing credible information to support ongoing investigations.
