Musa Included in Manchester United First-Team Training as Squad Touches Down in Dublin

Manchester United’s intensive training camp at Carton House kicked off this week with a notable face among the seasoned professionals.

Academy standout, Victor Musa was spotted training with the senior squad as they begin their final preparations for next Monday’s Premier League clash against Leeds United.

The 19-year-old forward is one of several youngsters handed a golden opportunity by manager Michael Carrick. With United looking to finish the 2025/26 campaign on a high, Musa’s inclusion in the 25-man traveling party suggests he is being closely monitored for the final stretch of the season.

Musa, known for his versatility across the front line and clinical finishing, joined the United ranks in 2023 and has been on a steady upward trajectory. His call-up to the Dublin camp follows a string of strong performances in the Premier League 2, where his link-up play with teammates like Jack Fletcher has caught the eye of the senior coaching staff.

As Musa’s profile continues to rise, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will undoubtedly be watching his progress with keen interest. Following the recent successful switch of players like Arthur Okonkwo, the prospect of Musa eventually donning the green and white of the Super Eagles remains a tantalizing one for the Nigerian footballing public.

For now, the focus remains on the Premier League. As United prepare to leave Ireland on April 9th, Musa will be hoping his performances in Dublin have done enough to earn him a place on the plane to Elland Road for next Monday’s “Roses” derby.
