Troops Disrupt Boko Haram Supply Chain in Borno

Nigerian troops intercepted 13 suspected Boko Haram logistics collaborators in Borno State. The group was apprehended during a routine security operation aimed at cutting off insurgent supply lines.

The suspects, 12 men and one woman, were caught in a Toyota pickup. Soldiers intercepted them at a checkpoint near Kanama while they were traveling toward Dekwa.

Two men in the vehicle had fresh gunshot wounds. Investigators believe they were injured during a recent military clash while attempting to move supplies to terrorist camps.

Authorities seized the vehicle and eight mobile phones used for communication. These items are being analyzed to uncover more details about the insurgents’ support network.

The suspects remain in military custody for profiling and interrogation. They will eventually be handed over to higher authorities for legal action and further investigation.
