Concerted Efforts Against Insecurity Yielding Breakthroughs,.Says Tinubu in Easter Message

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that ongoing efforts by his administration and security agencies to tackle insecurity are beginning to yield positive results, even as the country continues to face security challenges in some regions.

In his Easter message to Nigerians, the President acknowledged the sacrifices being made across the nation while emphasizing that his government remains committed to restoring peace and stability.

He said the fight against insecurity requires unity, resilience, and sustained collaboration between citizens and security agencies.

Tinubu noted that enhanced security operations, improved coordination among security institutions, and support from international partners are contributing to what he described as “early breakthroughs” in the battle against terrorism, banditry, and other violent crimes.

No nation can thrive where fear prevails, and no progress can be sustained without peace,” the President said, urging Nigerians to support the government’s efforts and remain hopeful despite current challenges.

He also linked the significance of the Easter season—marked by sacrifice, hope, and renewal—to Nigeria’s current situation, calling on citizens to embrace peace and unity in order to overcome the nation’s difficulties.

The President further appealed to political actors and citizens to uphold democratic values and the rule of law, stressing the importance of peaceful conduct as the country approaches future political activities. He reaffirmed that ongoing reforms by his administration are aimed at securing long-term prosperity for all Nigerians.

Tinubu wished Nigerians a peaceful and joyful Easter celebration, expressing optimism that collective efforts will continue to strengthen national security and promote development.
