Transportation Minister, Alkali Resigns to Join Guber Race
The Minister of Transportation, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali, has resigned his position to pursue his gubernatorial ambition in the forthcoming elections.
His resignation, which was formally submitted to the Presidency, follows a directive mandating all political appointees seeking elective offices to step down from their roles.
In his resignation letter, Alkali expressed gratitude to the President for the opportunity to serve, highlighting what he described as notable achievements recorded in the transportation sector during his tenure.
