Natasha Demands Immediate Action from Defence Chief Over Plateau Killings

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has called on the Chief of Defence Staff to take urgent steps to stop the killings in Plateau State. She expressed deep worry about the continuous violence that has claimed many lives in the region. The senator said the situation has gone on for too long and demands stronger action from the military leadership.

In her statement, Natasha stressed that the people of Plateau deserve better protection from the government. She pointed out that innocent citizens, including women and children, continue to suffer from attacks by unknown gunmen.

The lawmaker believes the defence headquarters must come up with a clear plan to bring lasting peace to the troubled areas.

The killings in Plateau have caused fear and displaced many families from their homes. Communities live in constant worry, and farming activities have been badly affected. Natasha urged the Defence Chief to deploy more troops or improve intelligence so that attackers can be tracked and stopped before they strike again.

Her demand comes at a time when many Nigerians are tired of hearing about violence in different parts of the country. The senator believes that with firm leadership and quick response, the military can restore confidence among the people. She also called for better support for victims who have lost loved ones and properties.

This strong appeal highlights the need for the security forces to do more in protecting lives and property. Natasha reminded authorities that silence or slow action only encourages criminals. She wants to see visible results on the ground so that residents can return to normal life without fear.

In the end, Senator Natasha’s call puts pressure on the Defence Chief to act decisively. Plateau State has suffered enough, and many hope that this demand will lead to concrete measures that finally bring peace to the region. Nigerians are watching to see how the military leadership responds to this urgent appeal.
