APC Screens National Office Aspirant Tuesday

The All Progressives Congress, APC has officially scheduled Tuesday for the screening of aspirants for national offices ahead of its 2026 National Convention.
This announcement by the Aspirants’ Screening Committee marks a significant step in the party’s internal electoral preparations.
The exercise, slated for Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja begins promptly at 9:00 am, with the party emphasizing the importance of punctuality for all participants.
Invitations are extended to those who have already purchased and submitted their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms. This phase serves as a mandatory verification process for all candidates seeking to contest for national leadership positions.
Physical attendance is compulsory, as aspirants must appear in person before the committee. They are required to present all relevant original supporting documents to verify their eligibility and credentials during the exercise.
The official notice was signed by the committee secretary, Isa Yuguda, and shared via the party’s X handle on Sunday. This public announcement ensures that all stakeholders are informed of the requirements and timelines.
This screening is a vital prerequisite for the upcoming National Convention where new party leaders will emerge. It ensures that every contestant meets the party’s established standards before the final elective process takes place.
