Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has alleged that the United States was pulled into the ongoing conflict with Iran by Israel, placing direct blame on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Araghchi said Washington’s involvement in the war was not independently driven but influenced by Israel’s leadership. The United States was drawn into this war by Israel, or more precisely by Netanyahu himself,” he stated. The comments come amid escalating hostilities involving Iran, Israel, and U.S. forces, with intensified airstrikes and retaliatory attacks reported across the region.

The conflict has seen increased military activity, including missile exchanges and targeted operations against key installations and personnel, raising concerns about a broader regional crisis. Iran has maintained that the United States lacks a clear objective in the conflict, accusing Washington of shifting its position between different goals.
