The newly elected Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State, Hon. Warman Ogoriba, has declared that the party is more united than ever following its recent congresses.
Dismissing claims from opposition parties that the APC would face an internal crisis, Ogoriba described such expectations of a party “implosion” as a mere pipe dream.
The Chairman maintained that the recently concluded ward, local government, and state congresses were the most peaceful and orderly in the history of the party within Bayelsa.
He made these remarks during a courtesy visit from the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), led by Chief Tiwei Orunimighe, who pledged their support for the new executive team.
Ogoriba emphasized that the party has adopted an “open-door policy” to ensure all stakeholders are carried along and that internal harmony is preserved.
He further noted that the leadership has already begun visiting key stakeholders to strengthen the party’s fold and prevent any room for acrimony or division.
With an eye on the 2027 general elections, the Chairman urged all political support groups and NGOs to work in total alignment with the formal party structures.
The new leadership concluded by assuring members that their focus remains on building a formidable force to secure a landslide victory for President Bola Tinubu and other candidates.
