Lagos Approves List of SLG, Supervisors and Special Advisers for Apapa LG

The Lagos State Government has approved the appointment of the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), supervisors and special advisers for Apapa Local Government Area.

This was contained in an official letter dated March 2, 2026, and addressed to the Executive Chairman of Apapa Local Government Area. The letter stated that the appointments were made following the directive of the state governor and conveyed the approved list of officials for the council.

According to the document, Gilbratar Njowusi was appointed as the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), while other approved officials include Hon. Babatunde Toafeek Olajide, Hon. Omosuyi Olaolu O., Hon. Babalola Mogaji, Michael Arugba, Adesola Adesanya-Atiroko, Hameed O. Olasode, Mrs. Ilawole Sandra, Mrs. Modupe Oniyitan, Olufemi Olusanya, Olayiwola Abideen Adekunle, Samson O. Aromire, Olanrewaju Wasiu Adebayo, Isiaka Ijale, Dr. Michael Egbayelo and Mr. Yaqub Ademola.

The state government directed the Apapa Local Government chairman to strictly adhere to the approved list.

The letter was signed by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Bolaji Kayode Robert.
