FG’s Policies Drop Inflation, Creates More Jobs, Boasts Edun

The Federal Government’s economic reforms are beginning to yield positive results, with inflation showing signs of slowing down and job creation on the rise, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, has said.

Speaking at a media briefing in Abuja, Edun said the administration’s policies aimed at stabilizing the economy and stimulating growth are achieving their intended impact.

“The Federal Government’s reform measures are working. Inflation is trending downward, and we are seeing increased job creation across several sectors,” Edun said.

He attributed the improvements to targeted interventions, including support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), investment in infrastructure, and the implementation of monetary and fiscal policies designed to stimulate productivity.

According to him, the government remains committed to reducing the cost of living, improving the ease of doing business, and fostering sustainable economic growth that benefits all Nigerians.

“Our goal is to create an economy that generates opportunities for every citizen. We are taking deliberate steps to ensure that the economy remains resilient and inclusive,” he added.

Edun also assured that the government would continue to prioritize reforms that protect the most vulnerable while attracting local and foreign investments needed to drive long-term growth.

Economic analysts welcomed the news but noted that sustained efforts would be necessary to consolidate the gains and ensure broader benefits across all segments of society.
