Akwa Ibom Governor Explains Visit to Tinubu, Nasarawa Farm

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom has clarified that his recent visit to President Bola Tinubu and an agricultural facility in Nasarawa was part of efforts to deepen collaboration and learn best practices for economic development.

According to statements from the state government, the governor’s trip to the Presidential Villa in Abuja was a routine working visit aimed at briefing the president on developments in Akwa Ibom and exploring areas of federal support for ongoing projects.

Officials said such engagements help strengthen cooperation between the state and the federal government on development initiatives.

After the Abuja meeting, Governor Eno proceeded to CSS Farms in Gora, Nasarawa State, where he embarked on a study tour of the agricultural facility.

The governor described the visit as an opportunity to observe modern farming operations and gather insights that could be replicated in Akwa Ibom’s agricultural sector.

State officials noted that the tour aligns with the administration’s broader strategy to boost food production and economic diversification through agriculture.
