Aviation Minister, Festus Keyamo has admitted that the APC is “not a party of saints,” acknowledging internal flaws. However, he maintained that the ruling party remains a far superior option for Nigerians compared to the opposition.

Keyamo argued that the APC is “miles better” than the PDP, which he claimed lacks moral authority.

He criticized the PDP’s 16-year tenure, stating they cannot legitimately challenge the current administration’s reform efforts.

The Minister defined governance as choosing the best available option among political parties. He defended APC’s policies, asserting they focus on long-term structural fixes rather than the temporary solutions favored by previous governments.

Addressing economic hardships, Keyamo described current struggles as necessary “pains” for future prosperity. He urged patience, claiming the government is finally tackling deep-rooted issues ignored for decades by past leaders.

He dismissed claims of failure, highlighting bold infrastructure and security initiatives. Keyamo argued that removing fuel subsidies and unifying exchange rates proves the APC’s commitment to saving the economy from collapse.

Ultimately, Keyamo’s remarks defended President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda. He concluded that the APC offers the only viable path for development and urged citizens to respect the party’s courage.
