De Imperial Philanthropic Family (DIPF) has awarded N25 million to 25 South-East undergraduates.
Each student received N1 million to prevent financial constraints from obstructing their university education.
Beneficiaries were chosen for their high 2025 JAMB scores and successful university admissions. The “Best Brain Contest” managed the rigorous selection process across the five South-East states.
DIPF President, Chief Darlington Nwabunike presented the cheques in Awka, noting the group’s commitment to youth. The organization currently supports over 1,000 regional beneficiaries through various scholarship programs.
Nwabunike stated that the foundation drives socio-economic growth through education and healthcare. These interventions are designed to reduce poverty and create a meaningful future for young people.
Education Committee Chairman Chief Chikezie Okonkwo lauded the students’ academic excellence. He credited the initiative to the leadership’s dedication to youth development and educational advancement.
The students expressed deep gratitude for the support and vowed to maintain high grades. They emphasized that the scholarship removes a significant financial burden from their families.
